Forum login system seems broken, cannot reet password as reset email never arrives. cannot create new account as activation email never arrives. Help, your forum is broken. I forgot my password but password reset emails arent arriving (and I've ensured they are not going to spam or being bloked by my emailprovider). I tried making a dummy spare account to post this note on the forum via using temp-mail (an (at)pixiil.com address), but the activation emails never arrive there either. I have a question i want to ask on the forum, with an account I set up months ago, or a new account, but I just cannot sem to get hold of either the password reset or the new-account activation emails. Is your forum's email sending server down or something. Thank you

What a disgrace! The BBC do not care about extraneous circumstances and just treat her like a criminal. The BBC will get its comeuppance in decades when older people will opt for streaming services over paying for a TV licence to watch BBC programming.

I agreed with all of the comments of the retired magistrate above until the last paragraph:

"I believe the solution is for the UK to abolish BBC TV licences and fund the BBC from general taxation in the same way as other public services. This would be the fairest, cheapest and simplest solution."

No - the solution is to make the BBC a subscription service. After all, if the BBC is so universally admired, people will willingly sign up...

Prosecution only a last resort? I had a friend who got taken to court by TVL, he never received any letters from them saying they were taking him to court, only a letter 7 months after the goon visit saying he had being fined a total of £450.
The Goon who attended wouldn't say who he was so he said two words beginning with F and ending in FF. When he asked for a copy of the TVL 76 TVL denied him it under DPA so he told them then no fine was issued against him and he was taking TVL to court. They replied saying the fine was being wiped from the courts records has the name on the fine wasn't his and offered him a free licence for 12 months to which he replied no just send me £142.50 by cheque or I prosecute TVL. They eventually sent him a cheque for the £142.50

It's amazing isn't it, the usual complaint is that MPs don't answer questions but when they do answer and it's not the answer the interviewer wants they're wrong. Some questions need more than a Yes or no answer.

The really sad part of this is that it's a misconception that British inmates don't have to pay for TV, as someone who's had a bit of a dubious past with somewhere in the region of 28 spells in prison I can say with certainty that it's not free, depending on what kind of cell you're in you'll be expected to pay upto £1 per week for the privalage of watching TV, and that's what it is - a privalage - which, depending on your circumstances may need to be earned when you first enter the prison, but let's assume you're in a prison like HMP Altcourse (aka Butlins) where almost everyone is immediately given the opportunity to have a TV, if you're in a triple cell (sharing with 2 other people) you'll pay 34p each (some prisons do have 4 man pads but they're quickly being phased out but currently it would be 25p each) assuming that the cell is at capacity, if not the £1 total per week is split between whoever is in there, so single cell status inmates have to pay the full £1 which is why I asked for my TV to be switched off so that I didn't need to spend the £1 which in prison is actually a LOT of money, the most anyone earns on average is £5 for going to education twice a day, 5 days a week, the most common activity by far, so having to pay 20% of your earnings to watch TV just isn't worth it imo.

I assume it's the same thing for women's prisons too, fair enough you generally get more than just 5 TV channels, depending on the prison you're in, Altcourse has several Sky channels to choose from but HMP Liverpool (aka "Walton) didn't, although I've not been in trouble for a very long time and I imagine that's definitely changed since, but let it be known that the prison itself pays their TV licence fees and certain prisons like Altcourse have the added benefit of paid Sky channels too so they're not going to let inmates watch anything for free, they're there to be punished not pampered 🙃

All these people are so quick to attack anyone but the moment someone criticises , which is really all he does, they're running for a lawyer. This is a complete waste of court time and to set aside 6 weeks shows the idiocy of out judicial system. A half decent judge should be able to settle this in an afternoon.

In fairness, lots of Scots pay for a TV Licence but the BBC doesn't even understand that it's a different country, with its own civil and criminal justice systems, and where the law is mostly completely different. For example, it made a 1-hour special consumer advice program about cheap breath-testing kits in which there were many references to "the UK drink/drive limit".

Fail! The drink/drive limit in Scotland has differed from that in the rest of the UK for many years (it's only just over half of the limit elsewhere and many tourist drivers have been prosecuted and banned simply because they don't know this).

I am sick of hearing about pension credit, there are thousands of people who are just above the qualifying rate for pension credit who are living in poverty.
Still as long as the cowards and sheep continue to pay their £157.00 to finance the BBC parasites [ TV presenters, news readers, weather presenters, soap opera sh@te and BBC staff who travel all over the world paid for by licence fee paying mugs.
